Scrumptious Productions came about quite by accident in 2007.  A bad day at work saw Kirsteene Phelan throw in her job and start a business selling handmade wares of local designers at markets in Melbourne.  For a bit of fun Kirsteene starting making a range of lollylike accessories that quickly snowballed into a full blown range.  Over the last three years the label has grown to include over 120 styles that are stocked in over 70 locations in Australia and New Zealand.

2010 saw Kirsteene head off on an O/S adventure to the United States to dig around in the dirty back rooms of long time jewellery makers and return home with lots of beautiful vintage and deadstock components to recreate into affordable, fun and feminine fashion accessories.

Kirsteene likes making stuff, books, music, wine and food.  She loves her husband and step daughters.
She is not so keen on the game squash.

COMPANY PRACTICES

Scrumptious Productions is committed to doing the best it can for the surrounding community and where possible the business will choose the most environmentally friendly options.

At least 50% of products made are made with vintage or deadstock components.
Display cards are made from recycled card and are printed with soy inks.
Orders are packed in reused boxes.
Shared meals are made in house and scraps are deposited in a bokashi bucket with the compost then donated to a local community garden.
Flights are C02 offset.  Trips to post office are completed on foot.
